CAMPING

Make a weekend of it and stay right in the heart of the action. Our camping area is right around event base, giving you the chance to soak up the atmosphere, cheer on your fellow participants, and enjoy a relaxed start to race day. Pitch your tent, settle in, and enjoy a great weekend of trails, stories, and good company.

Camping is inclusive of both Friday and Saturday nights.

Facilities

We can accommodate up to 120 camping and this will be spread over approximately 40 allocated camping sites.
This is a basic Auckland Council campground, therefore toilets & drinking water are provided, but no other amenities. However there is a great swimming hole in the river which runs around the event base, for a post run wash off. There is no mobile reception at all.

Strict ‘Lights Out’ times will be observed, and no noise is to be made after these times.

Lights Out : Friday 9:00pm and Saturday 10:00pm

Adding Items To Your Registration

If you have already completed your event registration and would like to now purchase additional items you can do so by selecting “My Account” on your confirmation email, or by creating account online here
Create an account and password, and this will allow you to manage all your Trail Events NZ events. Select your Hunua Hillbilly event ticket and use the red “Make Changes” button to “Add Items to Ticket.”
