Camping

This is one part of the event we are very excited about. As part of the event, we are able to offer camping for both Friday and Saturday nights! For those of you who haven’t stayed out here before you are in for a treat, it is a truly magic spot to spend the weekend. Thanks to Auckland Council Southern Parks for making this possible.

Adding Items To Your Registration

If you have already completed your event registration and would like to now purchase additional items you can do so by selecting “My Account” on your confirmation email, or by creating account online here
Create an account and password, and this will allow you to manage all your Trail Events NZ events. Select your Hunua Hillbilly event ticket and use the red “Make Changes” button to “Add Items to Ticket.”

Facilities

We can accommodate up to 120 camping and this will be spread over approximately 40 allocated camping sites.
This is a basic Council campground, therefore toilets & drinking water will be provided, but no other amenities.
However there is a great swimming hole in the river which runs around the event base, for a post run wash off.

Strict ‘Lights Out’ times will be observed, and no noise is to be made after these times.

Lights Out : Friday 9:00pm and Saturday 10:00pm

 

Hunua Hillbilly Hoedown!

During the evening we will be treating you to some magic country tunes from New Zealand’s number one country duo - Coopers Run
Coopers Run will be performing from 3:30pm so grab a drink and soak up the afternoon while we welcome in more finishers.
